Rob, a native Kansan, is a graduate of Wichita State University and Baker University. Rob has almost twenty years of management and leadership experience, eight of which are in the behavioral health field and nonprofit space. Serving as the CFO, then as CEO at CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness, Rob grew the organization of approximately 150 employees from a small community mental health center to a $10 million nonprofit organization serving seven counties in east central Kansas.
Rob has been a member of multiple nonprofit advisory boards as well as an advocate for behavioral health funding and services for underserved individuals on a local, state, and national level. In addition, Rob began a fundraising program at CrossWinds that collected over $1.2 million from donations and private grants within its first eighteen months. Rob has experience in contributing to the growth of startup companies as well as turning around struggling mature companies by empowering employees, building succession plans, and mentoring and coaching fellow employees. Rob enjoys working for a mission-driven organization that really does change the lives of individuals as well as communities as a whole.
In his free time, Rob hikes, bikes, and kayaks whenever, and wherever, possible.
