Maya Pace

Chief Program Officer

Hometown: Sebastopol, CA

Maya is from the redwoods of Northern California and grew up amongst a group of people dedicated to community and service. From them, her studies at Tufts University, and so many others she learned about the power of place- and people-based change.

In her role as Chief Program Officer, Maya stewards the day to day operations of the Hometown Fellowship, working to support the community of Fellows and host governments and welcome the incoming class, leading the curriculum design and summer training team, and learning from the Fellows and their communities about what it takes to build vibrant places.

Maya has a background in facilitation and conflict resolution. Building on her experience facilitating dialogues on Tufts’ campus and co-stewarding TedxTufts, she seeks to bring her love of creating transformative experiences to her work at LFA.

Look around: another world is possible.
