Lorenzo, a graduate from the University of Arizona, is a practiced change-maker, project manager, and community advocate. Originally from the Detroit-area, Lorenzo most recently served in the City of Detroit Mayor’s Office, as a member of Lead For America’s inaugural Hometown Fellows Cohort. There he worked towards operationalizing improving the physical and economic mobility of Detroiters. Prior to joining Lead For America, Lorenzo served as the Student Body Vice President, a role in which he advocated for solutions across a range of issue areas including equitable tuition, institutional sustainability, food insecurity, and emergency medical services.
Lorenzo presently spearheads Lead For America’s national recruitment and selection efforts. When not serving his community,
Lorenzo spends time with his son, Carter, and enjoys his hobby of aquarium keeping.
