KaRa Lyn (kah-rah) is an aspiring emergent strategist who is passionate about building strong, equitable and connected communities. She served as the Operations + Finance Associate for a year before transitioning to a Program Manager at Lead For America where she enjoys growing and learning with her incredible Hometown Fellows and host communities.
Her background in business management, international business and cultural humility allows her to steward both processes and people in service of creating a just world for all. She graduated from the University of West Georgia and received a dual-degree from ESCEM in France. KaRa Lyn has been in the business of serving community through starting a study abroad alumni association on campus, interning with the World Affairs Council of Atlanta, and dedicating to a year and a half of service with AmeriCorps VISTA.
She is passionate about racial equity work and has experience facilitating equity listening sessions and plenaries with partner organizations. She values spending time with her people, traveling our beautiful and messy world, and reading in between.
