Emily is passionate about people, problem-solving, and learning. A graduate of Duke University, Emily is an enthusiastic connector and relationship builder with extensive experience in operations, marketing, and communications.
Originally from Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i, Emily currently serves the County of Hawai'i, Department of Planning where she focuses on improving processes and system efficiencies to benefit local people. Prior to joining the County of Hawai'i, Emily served as Content Creator at Whitefish Credit Union, the largest credit union in the state of Montana, where she honed her understanding of financial needs and challenges facing underserved rural populations in our country.
When she's not working to help those in her community, Emily is probably playing in the ocean, having fun with friends and family, or learning something new.
