Recruitment and Selection Manager
Hometown: Peachtree Corners, Georgia
Cam, a graduate of Georgia College & State University, is a committed change agent and problem solver.
A Georgia native, Cam grew up in the Metro-Atlanta suburbs and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics in the historic Georgia town of Milledgeville. While in college, Cam fell in love with his new, small town community, but was saddened by the mismanagement of government resources and disparate educational opportunities for local students. In response, he personally brought empirically tested entrepreneurial training and virtual ACT/SAT tutoring to county high school students. He also founded the Georgia College Nudge Unit, a behavioral economics consulting group, that provided free behavioral consulting to local businesses and organizations.
Upon graduation, Cam was unable to secure a job within the Milledgeville community due to a lack of local resources and moved to Philadelphia to work for the Fin-Tech start-up company, Perpay, which offers meaningful credit building services to sub-prime borrowers. Despite his new job and community, Cam never lost sight of his passion for community development and jumped at the chance to join the Lead For America team.
Remaining in Philadelphia, Cam is now Lead For America’s Recruitment and Selection Manager, connecting like-minded change agents to impactful opportunities within their own communities.
In his free time, you can catch Cam on the basketball courts of Philadelphia or watching movies with his cat, Bo.
